1/2 cup steamed milk*
1/2 tablespoon pumpkin spice syrup (recipe follows)
Combine all ingredients in a coffee mug, stir and enjoy!
*If you don't have an espresso machine, place milk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently with a whisk, until hot and frothy.
Pumkin Spice Syrup Recipe:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1-inch piece vanilla bean
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 cup canned pumpkin
Combine all ingredients in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until syrup is thickened and reduced by half.
Makes about 1 cup.
